Overview

Hospital pharmacy with Generative AI

An eight-week programme for hospital pharmacists who want to integrate AI into clinical practice and research safely, critically and through practical application.

Participants apply AI to pharmaceutical validation, medication review, reconciliation, pharmacovigilance, research and management. Every week links a seminar to a hands-on lab and a deliverable that contributes to the final project.

Objectives

From understanding AI to applying it in hospital practice

The programme builds sufficient technical understanding and converts it into useful tools, processes and decisions for hospital pharmacy.

  1. Understand Generative AI foundations, capabilities, limitations and applications.
  2. Improve clinical pharmacy, management and research with advanced tools.
  3. Integrate AI into validation, medication review and reconciliation.
  4. Explore pharmacovigilance, pharmacotherapy and patient safety use cases.
  5. Assess ethical, legal and professional implications.
  6. Create a personalised plan for implementing a solution in a real hospital setting.
